Calculate Job Commuting Costs and CO2 Impact

Abogo is a new tool from Chicago’s Center for Neighborhood Technology  that enables you to do a rough calculation of your monthly commuting costs when you move to a new dwelling and a new job in a major American city.   You can add this calculation to your monthly housing and estimated grocery costs to answer the big question:  “Can I live on the salary I’m being offered?”  Abogo also will tell you how much CO2 your commuting will put into the atmosphere (if you commute by automobile).  The website also gives tips on how to reduce your commuting costs.
